Description
BMW DME Cloning Service
Plug-and-Play ECU Replacement for BMWs — Done the Right Way
Replacing a failed BMW DME doesn’t need to involve dealership pricing or weeks of downtime. Our DME cloning service provides a factory-correct, plug-and-play replacement by transferring all essential data from your original unit to a compatible used DME.
This allows you to install a fully functional ECU without additional programming, coding, or immobilizer alignment.
We specialize in cloning Bosch and Siemens BMW DMEs across a wide range of models—from early E-series cars to newer F-series platforms.
How Our BMW DME Cloning Service Works
1. Send Us Both DMEs
Ship your original DME and your replacement DME (with matching or cross-compatible part numbers).
Used units can typically be sourced from eBay, LKQ, or car-part.com.
2. We Transfer All Required Data
We extract and copy all key information from the original, including:
-
VIN & immobilizer ISN
-
Security data / rolling codes
-
Software & coding
-
Injector/calibration data when applicable
-
All essential configuration data
Our process is non-destructive — no soldering, no chip pulling, and no physical modification to the replacement unit.
3. Plug-and-Play Installation
Once cloned, the replacement DME behaves exactly like your original.
Reinstall it in the vehicle and start the car with your existing keys — no coding or programming required.
Important Information (Please Read Before Ordering)
This is the section that protects you and ensures customers understand what cloning can and cannot fix.
⚠️ Diagnosis Is the Customer’s Responsibility
Cloning your DME will only resolve DME-internal failures.
If your original DME failed due to water intrusion, wiring issues, short circuits, faulty sensors, overvoltage, aftermarket modifications, or other root causes, those issues must be diagnosed and corrected first.
If the underlying problem is still present, it can damage the replacement DME as well.
We cannot diagnose vehicle faults remotely — cloning is not a diagnostic service.
⚠️ Original DME Must Be Readable
If the original DME is too corrupted, physically damaged, or unreadable, cloning is not possible.
In that case, we return the units and refund the service (minus shipping).
⚠️ Compatibility Requirements
Some late-model BMWs (especially post-June 2020) have limited cloning support due to security changes.
Before purchasing, please email us clear photos of both DME labels so we can confirm compatibility.
